Ok Rob, admit it, you're jealous of all the 40+ women swooning over Jack's
latest comment so now you're just trying to get some swooning going for
yourself ;-)

But I couldn't agree with you more. I hate reading about women who say "I
am on the pill and it makes me throw up and have acne and get fat and on
and on but my husband won't use NFP or FAM or wear condoms and actually I'd
like another baby it's him who doesn't want one."

Man, I was *in* that situation. I told him if HE didn't want another baby
HE could make sure one didn't occur.

On the other hand I am lucky enough to have a reasonable spouse who would
never put me through that, and quickly agreed once he realized what a
burden on me it was :-/ It makes me sad to hear women say their husbands
insist on some form of hormonal/permanent birth control, whether or not she
wants it, whether or not it impacts breastfeeding. *sigh* Worst was a 19
yr old with 2 kids 16 months apart... her husband calls her from home right
before he's supposed to come to the hospital to pick her up to take her
home and tells her if she doesn't get her tubes tied right NOW he won't let
her and the new baby come home. He dumped her for some 17 yr old 6 months
later. =(
