Dear Lactnet friends, I want to preface this with the following remarks.
Either I (a) read Lactnet too much (b) have been doing this too long (c)
am losing it.

I went to a conference at my church on Friday. The speaker Jeff Myers was
excellent. Near the end of the afternoon he said,
" If you know WHY you believe what you believe - leadership is inevitable."
"If you don't know WHY you believe what you believe your [faith in what you
believe] is irrelevant."

Then he presented 4 Deadly Questions to ask unbelievers who are mowing you
down with their "logic".
1. What do you mean by that?
2. How do you know that is true?
3. Where do you get your information? Source?
4. What happens if you are wrong?

We all use #3, but I particularily loved #4.

Anyway I'm sitting there saying this all applies to breastfeeding! So I'm
sending this to all of you for Sunday contemplation. Sincerely, Pat in
