Dear Kate,
I have some experience in the tongue tie area, including 2 grandchildren. It
takes time for the exercises to work. Remember this little fellow was
developing inside with several months of short tongue and all the
'wrong'sucking he did in utero has to be erased. The mom might need to
protect her milk supply for a bit while he is re-learning.
