I saw the baby of the mom who relactated. He is well. Mom nurses him and he
latches with audible swallowing and as Jack likes to point out a "pause"
which I showed mom.
Mom's supply isn't the greatest and the baby gets a decreasing amount of
formula post feeds. Had been 2 ounces now he usually only takes one. Mom had
stopped the pump then SNS a few days ago. I gave her the reassurance she
needs.
Baby still has faint heme positive stool but also a resolving nasty perianal
rash. I'll see him again in about a week.
