Hello,
I am wondering how some of you approach a client about permission to
take a photo/slide of her breast. For example, recently had a pt with
no milk/only drops and her breasts were very wide spaced and tubular,
very unusual. I felt so bad for her, nothing worked. I know this would
have been a useful photo for other's learning, but did not have the
heart to approach her. I am afraid she would feel even more badly about
her body. How would you wise ones proceed in such a situation? [By the
way, weeks later her sister has a baby, breasts appear normal except for
very "stretchy" loose areola when trying to express milk (nothing at all
at 36 hrs), and now she has insufficient milk too.]
