This is interesting -- thanks to all for the info.

Dealing with moms and babies battling persistent yeast seems to get more and
more murky, with yeast becoming so resistant to treatment in many cases
(even when the mother and baby are otherwise "healthy" -- meaning free of
disease, although something is probably out of balance to help the yeast to
thrive). It's tough, I think, to give moms information on this issue without
overwhelming or scaring them. Anyone have ideas on the best approach?
