Dear Kathy

Datas about ceftizozime
31-38% protein bound
plasmatic half live : 1,1-2,3 hours
volume of distribution : 0,5 l/kg
pediatric dose : 50 mg every 6 to 8 hours

After injection of 1g of ceftozoxime in mothers, maximal level in milk was
0,2 to 0,3 mg/l. Ratio milk/plasma estimated to 0,05. Can be used without
problem in breastfeeding mother.
