Hello Everyone

I am new not only to Lactnet, but to Internet, E-mail, etc.  Hope I'm doing
this right!  I work for an urban WIC agency.  I have a concern about pump
sanitation.  We have one electric pump that we loan out.  The last time it
was returned, the case was full of dead roach debris.  When I shook the
unit, more debris came out of the motor.  The company rep said I should
consider the pump potentially contaminated, and send it back to them for
decontamination.  This seems unreasonable since we only have one pump and
don't have the money to send it back for service.  With our clientele, the
pump is potentially contaminated every time it comes back.  There was no
evidence of live bugs, and the pump is working.

Has anyone else had this problem?  Any solutions like using a roach motel or
boric acid in the case after pump is returned?
