Hello Angie,

There is no issue whatsoever! ;o) The mom doesn't need help, there is no
problem.
We were just wondering about the cause of this behaviour, that we many of us
could relate to.
It's that intense movement of a satieted baby, who seems to really enjoy
being at breast.
Anyone there, with an explanation for this normal phenomenon...?

Warmly,

Marianne Vanderveen, Netherlands

Subject: [LACTNET] quivering during or end of feeding

"During a feeding, sometimes at the end of it, babies can show some kind
= of shivering with their mouth, often preceeded or followed by a
pause."

Quivering movement may be observed of the lips, tongue or chin. This is
fatigue. Is the milk flow fast? does the baby need help with pacing
the feeding? (snip)
