Hello to all,

Thanks to those of you who have checked out the conference (and more)
homepage.  The address on the Web is:
http://moontower.com/bwc/lactnews.html.  There are still a few glitches in
the code in the e-mail links.  Some of you have privately e-mailed me to let
me know that they have been unsuccessful posting mail  directly to me from
the page.  It isn't your browser (as I first thought) but is a mistake on
our end which my husband and I will remedy this weekend.

We have added breastfeeding courses, mentor-relationships, and a large
section on breastfeeding educational materials to our original idea of
conferences.  We have already decided to sub-divide the book category to
make it more specific (i.e. differ. sections for Texts, Parent-Oriented
Books, Drug References, Humor, etc.)
I think that this project has assumed a life of its own, and may just be in
a state of continual evolution, so please feel free to offer suggestions on
what you'd like to see it contain in order to meet your needs for info.

We have divided conferences by geographic regions.  Easter US, Western US,
and Pacific Rim (Aust. NZ, etc) already have conf. announcements posted.
I'd like to hear from those of you in Europe, Africa, South and Central
America, Canada, and Asia so we can start announcing your conferences.

For those of you who are afraid of complicated computer activities, the page
is designed to be very friendly.  We will add some new instructions to the
first section in response to a couple of questions we've received.

Be sure to go to the How To Post Page and click on Links if you want to link
your homepage with Lactnews.  There are form boxes which lead you through
several easy steps to accomplish this.

I have had to take to my bed with a sinus infection due to too many late
nights working on this project, so I ask your patience with the glitches for
a few days until I have my energy back.
