Hi all -- Personal experience with pumping: When I ret'd to work with a 6 mos
old Exclusively BF baby (giving you an idea of how much milk I should have
been producing), using a hospital grade pump, I could pump 2-4 oz TOTAL only
pumping once per 8 hour shift and nursing baby immed before I left and upon
return. When I discovered syntocinon nasal spray (no longer being marketed
now), I could obtain 6-8 oz in the same amt of time...I often find that with
clients who have difficulty "letting down" to a pump, that they will benefit
from psych stuff such as relaxation, picture of baby and touch like massage
or manual expression. Any one else with similar or different experiences??
