The research is clear that human milk is NOT cariogenic, even if teeth
are bathed in it, UNLESS there is another carbohydrate present in the
baby's mouth.  If mother's were taught to brush baby's teeth well before
bed to remove any sugars left on them from solids, etc, then breastfeed
ad lib, there should not be decay.--
