Dear Lactnetters,
I have frequently heard the comment that since formula manufacturers
make so much money from formula, it makes more sense for them to make a breast
pump that convinces a mother she needs to supplement with formula. This seems
to be most often said of Gerber and Evenflo. I get the Gerber connection,
but what about Evenflo? Is there a parent company that owns both Evenflo and a
formula company? Does Evenflo make formula with a different brand name? I am
confused about this and would appreciate any information that can help to
clear this up for me.
       Thanks.
