Thank you very much, Emily. I agree that 4H is a wonderful organization. You are absolutely right, that this incident provides an opportunity for open and honest discussions. I have absolutely no doubt that the poor judge involved was just completely taken by surprise and responded from her gut, not from her head. Unfortunately, her gut was poorly informed and her head just thought up a rationalization.
