22 years ago it was a cleaning lady from the Phillipines who rescued me in
the first few days of breastfeeding my first son. I had the desire, and the
determination but there was no help, my baby was in special care, I was
trying to feed despite medical objections and I had engorgement of the worst
kind...truly, truly the worst. She came into the room took one look at me
and wisked me away to apply compresses, etc. Quite beyond the line of duty
or responsibility. NEVER under estimate your hospital support staff!!
