Wilbur was the third child of Milton and Susan Wright, born April 16, 1867
in Indiana. The family moved to Ohio in 1869, and later that year Susan
birthed twins that did not survive infancy. Orville was born in Dayton on
Aug 19, 1871. Three years later Katherine was born, also in Dayton.



None of the biographies I've read discuss how long the Wright children were
breastfed. At that time, I believe most children were born at home and
breastfed at least past the second summer. I'm also NOT going to dig deeper
into this right now!
