I don't think that a lot of doctors think about their breastfed patients
once breastfeeding is well established and the children are doing well.
Why not?  Well, chances are that they hardly see these kids except for
well child checks--out of sight, out of mind.

I really like the whole idea of a family physician--and one reason is
that if my doctor didn't also treat me, I would hardly know her as I am
generally only there once or twice a year with my kids.
