My knee-jerk reaction is that it is being extrapolated from the common
experience of fluid CMP dairy products being associated with thicker
secretions. It is a common belief among singers that I know of, including
myself. Especially during my allergy seasons, I notice a difference, and
cut down on dairy.

I have long suspected I am mildly allergic to CMP. Will I never learn? I
do like it a lot. Due to "left-over" milk after my family went back to AZ
after the holidays, I  drank it for 3 meals a day, made pudding, etc.
out of fear I would "waste" it if I didn't use it up before the outdate.
Yesterday, I admit I practically OD'd on it!

Voile! Had to take sudafed, nasal spray, etc. this a.m. to cope with very
thick mucous. No actual URI symptoms, more like allergy.

dairy products in my refrig. now that I live alone.  I keep it for others
over the holidays. When they returned to their out of state home
