A mom asked me whether a vaginal yeast cream called Butoconezole (gynazole)
is compatible with breastfeeding and I can't find it in Hale's 2002. I read
her info on miconazole and told her it is doubtful that much is absorbed
systemically but she's concerned because the pkg insert states to "discuss risks to
baby" with your dr. Is there any concern if some should inadvertantly (from
mom's hands say) get on baby? Is the warning just a CYA? Obviously she can
wash her hands well but she's concerned due to pkg insert. She has an older
baby, around 6-8 mos, if I recall.

Input appreciated.
