I sent in a search earlier this evening. How many hours does it take? I was
assuming the subject had been covered already, so I sent in a lactnet search.
I haven't heard back yet, and I am anxious to check out what you Lactnetters
have to say.
I have a patient with a hive like rash on the trunk and lower extremities.
I have not seen it yet. She went to a dermatologist who is attributing it
to breastfeeding. He has ordered prednisone, and benedryl. He says that maybe
she should quit breastfeeding for two weeks to see if it goes away. Baby is 8
weeks old, and rash started when the baby was about 2 weeks old.
Got any ideas?
