I wonder if we aren't all brainwashed?  Our culture constantly barrages
us with the message that everything a woman's body does is a problem.
Menstruation: we can solve that.   Birth: we can solve that.
Breastfeeding: we can solve that.  Menopause: we can solve that.  Maybe
the problem is with the solution to something that wasn't a problem in
the first place.

We as a species couldn't have gotten this far if we NEEDED hormonal
suppression of menstruation, surgical birth, formula, and synthetic
hormones.  There are biological reasons why we have evolved the way we
have.  It is important for the survival of our species that we do what
is biologically appropriate.

But we as the "smartest" species always believe we can find a way to
"do it better."  Maybe what our culture thinks is "better" really isn't.
