As an RD, I am just wondering, what is the mother's weight (I recently
completed our diet manual on breastfeeding and maternal nutrition). Some mothers
that don't gain enough weight during pregnancy and/or are underweight before
pregnancy have a problem with milk production and fat content--especially those
that gain <20 lbs or are <85% IBW before pregnancy. How is her weight now?
Did she lose her postpartum weight too fast?
