     Well, if 50% are false-positive, then the other 50% would be false
negative, no?>>>

No ... if half the POSITIVE results are "false-positives," that would make the
other half "true-positives," not "false-negatives."  In this statement, there is
an unknown percentage of tests which are reported as NEGATIVE, most of which are
hopefully "true-negatives," but some unknown percentage that could be
"false-negatives."
