I'd love a list of common foods (or other substances) to which the color
and consistency of breastmilk stools (normal and otherwise) can be
compared. There's canned pumpkin, Gulden's mustard, French's mustard.
Smells like cinammon, popcorn, sharp cheese, fish. Other candidates? To
what would you compare a "seedy" diaper? Pickle relish texture with the
color of French's mustard?

I just had a client tell me her baby's stools were yellow and pasty, then
revise it a few days later and say they were really more brown, mucusy, and
smelly, once she thought about it. If she'd had some common things to
compare them to, we'd have been on the same wavelength sooner. Do give me
your ideas, either publicly or privately.
