While I agree 100% with Melissa B. regarding "IQ" as only being a
measurement of "potential", I am not sure if I understand why
*not* use studies showing higher IQ in children who received
human milk? After all, we have no qualms about touting studies
showing higher "resistance" to juvenile diabetes, otitis media,
allergies, etc. etc. with human milk... Am I missing something?
Looking up my ancient psych testing text, I saw that the WISC was
developed in 1949. Hmmm, I says to meself, almost nobody was
breastfeeding then. Wouldn't it be loverly to "return" in 2049,
find *everyone* breastfeeding for at least 1 year, and look at
WISC scores, especially the mean and standard deviations?
