Nancy Holtzman, take a bow for alerting us to the "formula pacifier" now
availalbe from the makers of Enfamil.

When I read her post, the first thing I thought of was "what a great way to
rot the teeth of the poor baby given this."  Why?  If that baby is in the
habit of taking a pacifier, won't he continue to suck on it? Where is the
milk delivered? Toward the front of the mouth, esp. if baby starts the flow
ofm ilk and then starts to fall asleep.

This is a study that NEEDS TO BE DONE--what is the relationship between
pacifier use (esp. this kind--perhaps comparing non-formula type with this
one) and dental caries development?

Anyone ready to take this on? Alert the dentists in your area, a dental school?
