I went to see the link to the article about
genetically engineered rice, and I admut it seems
good, but I must say I wonder if we won't find in a
few years that, like ABM, the concentrations are such
that it hinders absorption of another element, or
perhaps that the well-meaning scientist managed to
also copy a gene for...cancer, or whatever that could
be harmful.  I'm sure the intentions are worthy, I'm
just wary of chemically altering nature's work
(genetically altering the chemistry of nature, if you
prefer...), when we know so little about it all...as
if we're "playing god".
