People magazine is my "brain candy" - in a People article back when the transgender male was still pregnant, his wife was working in inducing lactation in preparation for the birth. I do not recall whether she carried/birthed any children prior to parenting this baby.

Sylvia (coincidentally getting ready to watch 'TransAmerica' tonight w/hubby if the kids will go to sleep!)

>> Saw a brief report today on a transgender male (was female) who had
recently given birth. What I found interesting
was the brief comment that the wife was breastfeeding the baby.
I hope they will go into more detail about the breastfeeding,
This post is in no way intended to open a discussion about the subject
of transgenders, etc, but to let you know about the possibility of a
discussion of breastfeeding by a woman who did not carry and birth the
infant.
