As she was touting this 100% as an advantage, I asked her why they didn't go
for an 80/20 whey to casein ratio as in REAL breastmilk and she looked at me
with a completely blank expression and asked why they would even want to
have any casein, as it is harder to digest! ;>) I'm amazed how they don't
get it.

How who don't get it? Formula reps or nutritionists? I hope you mean the
former and even so, aren't we supposed to not bag on people here? Something
in the rules about slander?

Isn't cow's milk casein harder to digest than human casein? I believe
that's how I learned it in human physiology and advanced nutrition classes.
I'm sure this rep learned it much the same, so her blank expression to you
was probably her thinking "do I have to explain human physiology and
nutritional differences of proteins?"

Please be careful---everyone----in statements like these. You may be
alienating people who have just as much right to be on Lactnet as
yourselves.
