Greetings,
I have been working with a new mom/baby couplet and have found the little
guy (7 weeks) to be what LACTNET has referred to as a velcro baby,he is
gaining but rooting all the time and always needing to be held. I have
observed that mom's milk supply was barely keeping up with the baby and she
nursed him often. She just told me that she started using Estrogen vag
cream (per doc) about a week after she delivered. She also told me that she
just stopped using it (5 weeks later) and has found that she is able to now
pump a lot more milk (preparing for work). I am very aware of the effects
of oral estrogen on milk synthesis but was wondering if any of you have
noticed decreased milk supplies associated with estrogen vag cream?
Thanks
