Just  wanted to add, if one is using lime juice on the skin to be very careful
about sun exposure.  Limes (as well other citrus, mangos and many other plant
items) contain furocoumarin compounds (psoralens) that can cause a
photosensitivity reaction (think exaggerated sunburn).   I have seen a several
patients in my practice with this kind of photosensitivity  reaction (citrus
and mangos are a big part of the diet and agriculture out here in California)-
those who are susceptible can get pretty nasty skin eruptions.
