With my Nursing Matters hat on...

I'm looking for someone in the field, who has experience of observing 
bottle refusal and distress, in an exclusively breastfeed baby, who has 
been removed abruptly from the mother and forcibly bottle fed by strangers.

I'd need you to read the Social Services reports of the baby's behaviour 
whilst being bottle fed by a care giver, and be able to make a 
professional judgement on the baby's behaviour as being within normal 
parameters of a breastfeeding baby being put in this position (or not).  
This should be based on previous observations, which is why I'm saying 
I'm looking for someone who has actually experienced this prior.  Make 
sense? 

This is an academic exercise, to do with making a formal complaint to 
the removing authority.  The baby has been returned to the family.  So 
there is no pressure on this assessment to do with it being a 'live' case.

I'd also be looking for any formal references on research  in this 
area?  I know that's very unlikely, but can anyone think of anything?

We will collate this after the event, and have it available for 
everyone.  :-)
