An acquaintance's 6-month old baby was diagnosed with this condition
after 8 weeks in the hospital. Baby began having diarrhea after mother
introduced ABM when mixing with formula.  Apparently, the baby is not
absorbing enough protein. Does anyone know anything about this disease
and whether mom can continue to breastfeed or give pumped milk?  (I'm not
asking in an official LLL capacity.)
