  my recollection from pulling the research for a local ped is that ther is
 NO substantialion for the above statement... some babies will., some won't,
some will some of the time and not others.. there is no definative rule that
can be applied.. i think this is important to remember and with confidence
recommend a cup and avoid the whole issue (and expense)
