Does anyone know how many babies died in CRIBS in that same period of
time?

Lest we fall too far off topic, I feel compelled to point out how this
relates to breastfeeding - mainly that I think that sharing a bed and
sleep with an infant really helps to boost and maintain a mother's milk
supply, and also increases frequency of infant's feeds.

Warmly,

Breastfeeding peer counselor, who is often afraid to suggest to mothers
that they could (gasp!) take their baby to bed and get some rest while
feeding.
