After all the negative discussions, I thought we needed a laugh. I was seeing a 4 yr. old for a Kindergarten check and the mother inquired about lead testing. I talked with her about exposure - old housing, freeways, occupations with lead, etc - and she decided that the only real lead exposure happened in the washing machine. I looked puzzled and she explained she sometimes finds bullets from dad's clothes - he's a highway patrolman! Everyone have a good weekend!
