Hi Morgan,
I was aware of the research that looks at maternal intake and fat
composition.
If you've got the refs looking at fat intake and milk composition I'd be
interested to see them (though I'm trying to work out what domesticated herd
animal would normally have other than a very low fat diet and what relevence
being a ruminant might play here too! not sure that there is a huge amount
we could take from animal based research)
I don't doubt that some severely malnourished women do not produce enough
milk to adequately feed their babies...I do wonder about how much the fat
level changes however. Have to do some digging.
