The other day I noticed someone referring to 'pooled donor milk' being used
in hospitals where they were, probably N. America but I honestly don't
recall.

Is this common practice? I know that at our hospital, every effort is made
to supply a baby with milk from as few donors as possible, preferably only
one, and close track is kept of who gets whose milk - just as close track,
in fact, as who gets whose blood.
It is documented in the patient record for every feed.

I'll be interested to learn more about how donor milk is dispensed in
various places.
