Hi Netters,
I'm looking for information to help a woman who has adopted a baby and is
nursing. She was 5 months pregnant and lost the baby, started leaking,
started pumping, got back on adoption list, got a baby (3 day old) and he is
now 7 days old. She had been pumping 2 oz per time and getting 10 oz per
day. The baby was 7 lbs at birth and weighed 7 lbs 3 oz (on a different
scale at a hospital) on the fourth or fifth day. She was having nipple pain
that I attributed to latch-on problems. She has very large breasts.
Any advice? suggestions?
Thanks,
Gigi Copeland, La Leche League leader in Alabama
