I haven't yet read the Lancet study, but am I right in thinking that the
biggest problem behind the whole debacle is quite simply that they chose
formula-feeding as our biological norm?  If formula-feeding is normal, then
you look at varying amounts of breastfeeding, from "some" to "a lot", and if
you're looking at really gross divisions you look at "ever breastfed, never
breastfed".

If they had accepted exclusive breastfeeding as the human norm, their
grossest division would have been "ever formula-fed, never formula-fed,"
and the vast, vast majority of their subjects would have fallen in the first
category.  I wonder what they'd have found when they looked at that little
bitty second category...
