Carolyn,
I wonder if she really needs to tell this doctor the whole truth about
breastfeeding? She needs the surgery, he won't do it if she is breastfeeding,
we all know there is NO NEED to wean. She is in the driver's seat here. I
would suggest that she avoid answering the question directly(assuming he/she
even remembers to ask about breastfeeding status).
