cindy, i was just looking at some information about Paget's disease (breast
cancer expressed first on the nipple), considering this mother's history, it
might be worth looking into, if the APNO doesn't cause some improvement
(meaning that there is staph or something that responds favorably to the
antibiotic aspects of the APNO). apparently it looks like eczema and does not
respond to the usual eczema treatments. it is extremely rare, has anyone
actually seen a case of it?

the description indicates that there is usually an underlying tumor, so a
lump might be found. but it can occur just on the skin of the nipple, and it
appears that it is diagnosed by cellular changes. so who diagnoses this? a
dermatologist? speak up oh medical ones.

Radiographics 1998 Nov-Dec; 18(6): 1459-64 "Paget disease of the breast: a
pictorial essay" has some excellent color photos, cindy go take a look. no
disease is so rare that it doesn't happen to someone, sometime.
