Dear Fellow lactnetters, I was asked to post this to the lactnet world to see
if any of you assist this LC. in Western Massachusetts."
The Valley Breastfeeding Task Force in Western Massachusetts is looking
to compile documented incidences of breastfeeding being especially
beneficial during; power outages, severe storms, natural disasters, or
other situations where access to all that's needed to formula feed (such
as clean water, washing facilities, stores open to buy formula, etc.)was
not available. Desired documentation would include; dates, names of
those involved, what happened, and contact person with phone number or
email address. We hope to write an article for a local newspaper on how
the breastfeeding baby is Y2k ready.
Please send your stories to [log in to unmask] Your help with this
project is greatly appreciated. Thank you to all who respond, Germaine
