Well, I just had to come down and send this message out to everyone.

After working all day, I took a needed break and watched the special PBS
(edu. TV, for the non-North Americans on LACTNET) on the Fourth of July
celebration at the Mall at the Capitol in Washington, DC.

And I just KNOW all those darling babies (with the breastfeeding-created
squirrel cheeks, bright eyes and perfect skin) and toddlers on Dad's
shoulders and young children dancing HAD to be from the LLLI Conference
ongoing right now. As I watched you all wave, I waved back. As you danced
to James Galway's brilliant flute with orchestra songs, I danced. As you
swayed to the music of the other performers, I swayed.

We were one--though thousands of miles away from one another.

And, because I was remiss on July 1 -- I hope all the Canadians on Lactnet
will accept my belated Happy Canada Day to you.

Night now! :-)
