World Breastfeeding Week has been mentioned each of the last three days on the
Rush Limbaugh Show this week.  On one day a woman called in (she could have been
an LC) and she talked quite a bit about the benefits of breastfeeding.  I do
think that Rush is a bit uncomfortable about the topic though  as he doesn't
really comment much.
Today was kind of amusing.  A fellow called in and said  " Rush,  You know it's
breast appreciation week don't you?"  Rush kind of chuckled a bit, then said now
you know I have to correct you, it's World Breastfeeding Week, you do know that
don't you!  Then he said if it were breast appreciation week why would we use
only ONE week for that!
There was nothing of depth said but, the word is getting out there and what is
it 2 million listners every day.

Another funny thing breastfeeding related.  DH & I belong to our Village Club,
it's not a country club but a neato place where everything all the formal and
theme dances and events are put on by us members,volunteers.  For the first time
in the 102 year history of the club we have a woman president this year.  Her
welcome letter just arrived in the mail to all members today and part of it says
" Now one last thing. I'm thinking of adding a SEMINAR series and several of our
women have already volunteered to present topics following is a partial listing.

(there are several others, all very clever and relating to things (funny)
various members have done or do.  I really laughed at how they brought in my
being English with my obsession with MILK  (notfromacow)
Must get packing for New Orleans.... Diet be dammed!
