I am counseling a women postsurgically.   When she lies on her side the
baby latches and sucks well.  Her large breasts elongate slightly and the
nipple protrudes more.  When she sits upright, her nipples and breasts
flatten.  I have never experiences this before except with women in a
semi-fowler's ( 45% sitting) position or prone.  Any suggestions.  She is
not particularly comfortable lying and would prefer upright.
Her breasts do not sag when sitting.
Well 28 years in lactation and you still can see something you haven't seen
before.
