That's an interesting finding, for I get quite a lot of questions from
mothers wether it's OK to try and loose extra weight while breastfeeding.
Still, I am concerned about the possibility of passing through the in fat
stored waste products like dioxines, PCB's, etc. I've always understood that
that was the biggest risk for weight loss in bf moms. And as a second I
remember seeing an article (I think it was in LLLI's Leaven some years ago)
about increased sodium levels in breastmilk right after heavy exercising,
probably due to a decrease in milkvolume (like during menstruation and
weaning?). How do these findings combine and what should I advise moms: *to
exercise or not to exercise*, that's my question.
