There is a different dosage that should be used to treat thrush in the breast
that for a vaginal yeast infection when prescribing diflucan. This appears to
be a common mistake that doctors make. I'm not sure what the exact dose is
but I know that it needs to be taken for 10 days not 1 in order to work.
Perhaps the thrush never cleared up with the single dose and that is why her
breasts itch.
