Special thanks to Jon Ahrendsen MD for good naturedly calling me on guessing
the 1000th Lactnetter would be a SHE! I laughed at loud at discovering how
sexist I sounded, when I like to think I am as un-role-biased as they come.

Actually, I was very much aware of purposefully typing SHE, since females do
outnumber the males on Lactnet. I would be pleased to be wrong on this one!
We could interpret having a male be the 1000th Lactnetter as a symbol that
breastfeeding is moving into a new era! I am particularly grateful for the
presence of men like Jon on Lactnet who are knowledgeable, committed to the
importance of breastfeeding, and who put their expertise to work at promoting
and researching breastfeeding.

Am I forgiven? <grin>
