Hi all,

First let me introduce myself. My name is Jennifer Norwood. I'm and RN
who works as a staff nurse at a rural hospital in North Carolina. We've got
no Lactation Consultants and it is not a very BF friendly environment. Our
BF rate is less that 5%. I've been lurking for a few months and have
gained much from the list. Now I've got a question.

I've got a patient who has multiple tick bites that are driving her
crazy. The OTC meds just aren't doing the trick. Her doctor has
prescribed Methlyprednisolone, but she is hesitant to take anything PO.
Would a topical like Diprolene be safer and as effective. I've got no
references here to help so any feedback would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
J. Norwood RN
